Terms of Service — Traceo

Who we are

Traceo is provided by Devarno Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15040535, whose registered office is at Flat 29 New Caledonian Wharf, 6 Odessa Street, London, England, SE16 7TN. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Devarno Ltd, and "you" means the person or organisation using Traceo.

By creating an account or using Traceo you agree to these terms. If you use Traceo on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Traceo.
  • Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are sold through Polar, which acts as our merchant of record. Polar sells you the subscription, takes payment, issues your invoices and handles sales tax and VAT. Polar's own terms also apply to the purchase.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before the change applies, and the new price takes effect from your next billing period. You can cancel before then.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, at /refunds on this site.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create or upload in Traceo. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run Traceo for you and the people you choose to share it with.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Traceo to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone else's rights;
  • upload malware or anything designed to harm the service or other users;
  • try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to access;
  • overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it; or
  • resell or share access to the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Traceo available and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your current period.

Ending your use

You can stop using Traceo and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we end a paid account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

What happens to your data after your account ends is set out in our Privacy Notice, at /privacy on this site.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill, and nothing in these terms affects them. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We provide Traceo to consumers for domestic and private use, so we are not responsible to a consumer for business losses.

If you use the service as a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in Traceo before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales, except that a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their home courts.
